Nutritional imbalances can impair mental functioning. This class will help you assess the nutritional status of your clients through key questions and case history to determine their nutritional needs and further enhance the efficacy of neurofeedback. This class will provide you with the skills to begin incorporating nutritional interventions into your treatment plans to enhance client outcomes, satisfaction and individualized care that you can begin in your practice right away.

As you know, many clients are either using or have questions about dietary supplements. Nutritional supplements can be a valuable adjunct to a neurofeedback practice for several reasons including enhanced patient outcome, efficacy of treatment and as an additional source of revenue. This class will teach you how to use specific dietary supplements to support individualize treatments and the knowledge you need to begin making recommendations.

This course will cover common over the counter supplements ranging from omega 3 fatty acids to minerals to specific nutrients and how these could benefit various populations seeking neurofeedback. Specific conditions may include but are not limited to ADHD, anxiety and depression. The intent of the class is to be able to suggest pinpoint supplements for various conditions to assist neurofeedback training.
